The Perfect Friday Night

Okay, I left you hanging with my last post, didn't I? Lucky for you, nobody reads this blog and so nobody lost any sleep over it. The day before my class was to resume in-person learning, a new COVID case was diagnosed in the AM class. As it turned out, public health and the school board decided they didn't care and we were allowed out of isolation and returned to class. Thanks guys. Thankfully all has been good since then.     It's funny to think that today could be as lovely as it was, but will change so drastically by tomorrow. The ground was brown with fallen leaves, the temperature was decent, and there wasn't too much wind. By Saskatchewan standards, that's a pretty beautiful day for November. There's something romantic about the idea of a blizzard so bad that it keeps you trapped inside your home, warm and cozy, for a whole weekend. The problem is that eventually it will be time to dig your way out and get back to reality.

If anybody needs me this weekend, I'll be beneath 50 cm of snow...
